We make womenswear and menswear — tailoring, outerwear and separates — and we keep the range deliberately small. We would far rather stock a few pieces we would happily wear ourselves than fill the site with things we wouldn't.
You'll spot the colours repeating. Navy, grey, charcoal, off-white, a little black. That is on purpose. Buy a jacket from us in March and a pair of trousers in October and they will sit together without you having had to plan for it.
It also means getting dressed takes a minute rather than ten, which matters more than most brands are willing to admit.
When we decide what to carry, we look at how a jacket sits across the shoulders, the way the lapel rolls, whether the trouser breaks as it should. Those details are what separate a piece that flatters from one that merely fits — and they are the first thing to disappear when a range grows too large.
If something doesn't pass, it doesn't go on the site. That, more than anything, is what we spend our time doing.
